The Shuriken is one of the most famous weapons associated to Ninjas in the world. It is relatively strong in Scribblenauts, as it can kill a regular man in three successful hits, and is also strong enough to break a rope (which in quite uncommon in throwable objects).
Ninjas will spawn holding a shuriken, although they will never actually use it in combat. They will, however, in Super Scribblenauts throw the weapon and then wield a katana if they cannot retrieve it when fighting against a pirate.
