Appearance

The dwarf is a short, bearded humanoid in a horned helmet.

Behavior

Dwarves destroy rocks and guard precious gems such as diamonds and rubies, attacking anyone who takes or destroys the gems. They equip pickaxes and war hammers.

Dwarves are generally neutral. They attack wood elves, night elves, and all monsters, though they will flee from the latter two after taking one hit.

Female Variant

The female dwarf wears a gold chestplate, a gold helmet, and a dark red skirt with red shoes. She has a beard in reference to Lord of the Rings.

• The synonym “urist” is a reference to the indie roguelike Dwarf Fortress, in which the player builds and controls a fortress of dwarves. Urist ('dagger' in the in-game dwarven language) is used by the game’s community to refer to dwarves in general.
