Old Sprite
Magical John holding an @rein with the "rainbow" adjective.
John Waugh is one of the developers of 5th Cell, and is a creatable character in Scribblenauts. He acts similar to a Cop, in the sense that they both attack evil people from Prisoners to Villains. He is also completely invincible, meaning that the only way to kill him is with an instant kill, such as Death, a Black Hole, or a Cap Gun. However, he is very weak, thus a weapon needs to be given to him so that he can hurt his opponents.
His old sprite's game art is different from the rest of Scribblenauts. (His head is facing the screen and his eyes are not dots) Also, he has a beard and an open mouth in the old sprite. (Plus, there are a few 4 pixels around his head.)
In the YouTube video "Ruining Scribblenauts by Having Too Much Fun In Prison" by RTGame, at around the 8:30 mark, he tries to answer the Teaching an Old Dino New Tricks! starite shard in The Saurus Park by typing in "Michael Jordan". Instead, the suggested words make it spell out "Magical John", which later became a memorable running gag with the channel. He is also protective of Maxwell and his brothers and will even attack whatever has disturbed them like Nate.
Female Variant[]
The female variant of John Waugh is very odd-looking and doesn't look like the male John Waugh at all, other than her face. She wears a yellow vest with a blue stripe in the middle and what seems to be a multicolored necklace over it. She has bright green hair that seems to have gray-blue stripes, and the hair coming out upward at an angle is very curly. She also wears lipstick and netted pants, and has navy blue boots.
